The Union Raiders are currently accepting registrations for the fall of 2012.  Registration fee is $70 by check, or $73 online credit card.  Please click here to register. The Union Raider Football Program will be for 5th -8th grade students who live within the boundaries of the Ryle School District. Players are responsible for their own equipment OR you may rent equipment from the Union Raiders.  Rental fees for specific equipment is on the registration form.  The Senior Silver and Black teams are comprised of seventh and eighth graders that meet the qualifications of the Kentucky State Middle School Football Association.

Interested Cheerleaders and Coaches should email unionraiderscheer@zoomtown.com with their name, email, phone number and age of cheerleader.

Advantages to being in the Raiders middle school football program over youth football organizations:

  • Players play with the same friends all 4 years (plus 4 more with the high school)
  • Smaller teams, more attention given to individual players
  • High level of coaching and well-trained staff
  • Minimum playing time is required for every player regardless of score/skill level
  • Will learn the basics/terminology of the current Ryle high school offensive and defensive systems
  • Coaching will have a more developmental style and a less “playing to win” style (although winning will be an objective)
  • All home games and practices will be at Ryle High School.
