The Union Raider Football Program is for 1st -8th grade students who live within the boundaries of the Ryle School District. Players are responsible for their own equipment OR you may rent equipment from Union Raider Football. Rental fees for specific equipment is on the registration form. The URF senior teams are comprised only of seventh and eighth graders that meet the qualifications of the Kentucky State Middle School Football Association.
Advantages to being in the Raiders middle school football program over youth football organizations: Players play with the same friends all 8 years (plus 4 more with the high school), Smaller teams, more attention given to individual players, High level of coaching and well-trained staff, Will learn the basics/terminology of the current Ryle high school offensive and defensive systems, Coaching will have a more developmental style and a less “playing to win” style (although winning will be an objective), All home games and practices will be at Ryle High School.
